Marina Terauds

Marina Terauds is a Latvian print-maker who uses techniques such as etching, mezzotint, aquatint, and drypoint. She has a degree in art pedagogy and a masters in printmaking. All of her techniques have been used for over 400 years. Teraud's often creates printings of mythological creatures like fairies, mermaids, and angels. Nature, mysticism, and spirituality are also huge themes. I've always a fan of fantasy and nature! I saw Teraud's art in person at Highland Park's famous Port Clinton Art Fair.

Sweet paisley!

Athletic bags

I love this pattern!

O Loves M bags are made by Highland Park native Merle O'Brien. Now she lives in Colorado where she makes eco-friendly accessories like purses, bags, water bottle holders, and dog bowls. What makes these bags green? O'Brien takes un-used materials from companies that were about to throw them away. O Loves M's bags have been seen at Sundance Film Festival-Sweet! Check it out!
