AJ Fosik

AJ Fosik makes crazy cool wooden animal sculptures! His animals are often wielding dangerous weapons and have snarling mouths full of ferocious teeth. His sculptures have great depth, texture, colors, and shapes. Fosik's art is inspired by his background in street art and signage. To make his artwork, Fosik arranges "hundreds of pieces of individually cut, varnished, and painted wood".

Patricia Piccinini

Patricia Piccinini is a world famous Australian artists. Her breakthrough moment was when she represented Australia at the Venice Biennale. Piccinini creates sculptures, videos, drawings, installations, and more. Her work is all very intellectual-exploring issues such as bioethics, bio-technologies, consumer culture, and the environment. I'm not going to lie- some of her sculptures that mix humans and animals are very grotesque- but they are incredibly creative and realistic. She creates her sculptures out of silicone, fiberglass, human hair, leather, plywood, clothing, nylon, plastic, wool, polyester, bronze, and much more.

Tara McPherson

“Tara McPherson is an artist based out of New York City. Creating art about people and their odd ways, her characters seem to exude an idealized innocence with a glimpse of hard earned wisdom in their eyes.” Tara makes paintings, comic books, posters, and sculptures. She does posters for musicians, (Beck, Mastadon, Kings of Leon, Rilo Kiley....) has been in many magazines (Elle,Spin, Juxtapoz, LA Times...) and has worked for huge brands (RayBands, DC Comics, Kidrobot, Nike....). Diana al Hadid

Diana is a Syrian born sculptor and painter who now works in New York. Her sculptures have been compared to the biblical Tower of Babel. All of her sculptures are huge and so imaginative. She uses materials such as wood, plaster, fiberglass, polystyrene, cardboard plastic, paint, metals, foam, and other mediums to make her fantastic sculptures.

“Elizabeth McGrath has always had an eye for the strange beauty in the grotesque of life; this appreciation is nowhere more evident in her work” To create her fantastical sculptures McGrath uses oils, resins, acrylic paints, wood, tar, foam, old leather/fur jackets, cloth, feathers, and wire. Her sculpture’s and diorama’s are super unique and might even freak some people out!

Jen Stark

Jen Stark’s art is truly original! I have never seen anything like it! Stark works mainly with paper and makes sculptures that look like blooming flowers, puddles of water, and layers of the earth’s crust. She says she’s inspired by “fractals, wormholes, an dead bodies”.When I look at her paper sculptures the word I think of is “bliss”, they just make you so happy! Her drawings and animations are quite cool tool. To make her sculptures, Stark sketches her designs and then uses an X-acto knife-no computer modeling to help her at all! Wow!
